Change Agent

I am a change agent.

As a change agent, I use my expertise to evaluate and analyze governance, and provide transition solutions that increase diversity and advance the success of your organization.

How I can help:

I assist organizations by assessing their current situation, helping solidify their organizational direction, and preparing a strategic plan with detailed action steps for how to achieve these goals, while monitoring the organization’s progress every step of the way.

Past examples of my work as a change agent include:

• Created a voter education program for the Maldives government. I was hired by the Maldives government to work with a government team to create and implement a national voter education program for the first democratic presidential election under its new constitution. I prepared the team to expand the program for future parliamentary and municipal elections.

• Facilitated the transition of two NGOs to a member driven organizations. I created and implemented an assessment process to design a strategic plan and operating framework to increase participation of grassroots women in governance of two NGOs. The process included international consultations and retreats that yielded strategic and action plans with operational and structural recommendations. Provided support in initiating action steps of the plan.

• Negotiated the merger of the Planned Parenthood chapters in Dallas and Fort Worth. I was the lead negotiator for the Fort Worth contingent mediating the merger. I was responsible for overseeing the creation of new operational agreements, the merging and allocation of resources and creation of new bylaws.
